CCI Small Pistol Primers
CCI Primers are subjected to ongoing testing and improvement. Therefore, CCI primers today are more sensitive, easier to seat, and more compatible with both progressive and automated loading equipment than they were in previous generations.
They make use of modern non-corrosive and non-mercuric initiator mixtures in order to achieve the cleanest possible burn. These primers are the “bread and butter” of reloading, as they are the primers that are most frequently used in reloading recipes.
CCI standard primers ( CCI Small Pistol Primers ) are exceptionally clean-burning, resulting in cleaner primer pockets and a longer period of time between pocket cleaning sessions. That is a significant advantage for progressive reloaders. In comparison to older CCI primers, they are more sensitive and easier to seat, and they are designed to feed smoothly through automated equipment. There are two sizes available: 1000 count and 5000 count.
A cartridge is nothing more than scrap metal if it does not contain a primer. CCI was founded by Richard Speer in order to provide reloaders with a reliable source of component primers. Primers were CCI’s first product, released years before Mini-Mag, Stinger, or any of our other well-known ammunition offerings.
Because we test and improve our primers on a regular basis, they are highly developed products. Compared to previous generations of CCI primers ( CCI Small Pistol Primers ), today’s primers are more sensitive, easier to seat, and more compatible with progressive and automated loading equipment.
Primers with mil-spec sensitivity are available for reloading military-style semi-auto rifles in addition to our standard rifle, pistol, and shotshell primers. Magnum primers, benchrest primers, and mil-spec sensitivity are also available for use with military-style semi-automatic rifles.
The primers for the 50 BMG cartridge, as well as percussion caps for muzzleloading enthusiasts, are also available from us in high quality quantities. CCI Small Pistol Primers have always included non-corrosive and non-mercuric initiator mixtures that are modern in nature.
Primers are a specialty of ours that extends beyond small arms. We are a major supplier of initiators for medium-caliber automatic cannons, which are used by the United States Armed Forces on a regular basis.
We provide the most comprehensive selection of component primers available in the industry, allowing you to customize your handloads to achieve the best possible performance.
